Always willing to lend a hand where needed. He drove youth bus in Fourth Baptist in Minnesota to building small class room benches at First Baptist in Hot Springs. In 2002, he met and married his beloved wife, Dianna Hutton.ĭuring Jerome's life he was always active in his local church. In 2001, Geraldene passed away after a car accident in Texas. After 36 years of Minnesota living, the couple decided to move to Hot Springs. The couple remained in Minnesota until his retirement in 2000. He worked for Minnesota Fabrics until securing a job with the Minnesota School System where he worked as a carpenter. The couple soon moved to Minneapolis, MN to begin their lives as husband and wife. Jerome sought work once again in construction which led him to Minnesota. They lived in Pierre, where Geraldene ran a small motel with her father, Walter Madison. It was during this time in his life he met and married his beloved wife, Geraldene Madison. He then went on to work on construction where he participated in the building of the Yellowtail Dam and the Oahe Dam. Upon his returning home he took a job in the fields. He went to the Army as one of two needed to fill his county's quota for the draft in 1955, where he served Korea. He was an avid hunter throughout his life.
He grew up in Bowdon where he learned to work and play hard. Jerome was born in Bowdon, North Dakota to Henry and Leola (Werner) Stroh. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at a later date at the cemetery in Bowdon, ND.
